About Tim

Tim Blaisdell is a seasoned executive with a wealth of experience in aerospace and defense manufacturing. Prior to becoming CEO of PITH Products, he served as the Chief Strategy Advisor for Cumberland Additive, providing strategic guidance and support to the team. With a career spanning over two decades, Mr. Blaisdell has held executive positions in both start-ups and large public companies. From 2015 to 2021, he served as the President and COO of VLN Advanced Technologies, a manufacturer of water jet devices for industry-specific applications in aerospace, heavy equipment, and power generation part manufacturing. During his tenure, he played a key role in driving the company’s direction and growth. Prior to VLN, Mr. Blaisdell was the Vice President of Business Development – North America for MDS Aero Support, where he was responsible for developing and executing the growth strategy for turbine engine test equipment, services, and facilities primarily with the engine OEMs – Pratt & Whitney, GE, and Rolls Royce. Before his time at MDS Aero, Mr. Blaisdell spent 13 years at Pratt & Whitney in various senior management roles including M&A, Strategy, Business Development, and Industrial Cooperation (Offset) marketing commercial and military jet engines and services. Tim has completed numerous Executive Education classes at Massachusetts Institute of Technology specializing in Marketing, Strategy and Management. He graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a Masters of Science in Management focusing on Innovation & Entrepreneurship and holds a Bachelor of Art from Ithaca College majoring in Mathematics & Economics along with a minor in Physics. Tim resides in Wethersfield, CT with his wife Kelly and has two boys, Timmy and Jack, who are both finishing college. If Tim is not in the office, you will most likely find him on a golf course, walking his dog or cooking something good to eat.
